Consultation has concluded
It has been brought to Council’s attention that there is a need for a disabled parking spot on the southern side of Punch Street. As part of this investigation, Council is considering the following proposals:
Proposal 1: Convert the existing all day parking (2 spaces) on the northern side of Punch Street between Spit Road and the service station driveway into 2 hour parking (2P, 8:30am-6pm, Mon-Fri). All day parking will be available during weekends as usual.
If residents indicate that they favour the introduction of period parking restrictions at this location, a report will be submitted to the local traffic committee for further consideration.
The proposal is shown on the attached diagram.
Proposal 2: Convert one of the 15 minute parking on the southern side of Punch Street into a Disabled Parking.

Council is seeking feedback/comments on both proposals until 7 February 2023.
