Clifford Street Angle Parking

Consultation has concluded

This proposal relates to the 110m section of southern kerbside on Clifford Street, between Civic Lane and Field Way. The proposal is to convert the existing parallel parking in this area to ‘rear-to-kerb’ 90-degree angle parking, which would result in a net gain of 18 parking spaces, inclusive of 1 disability parking bay. A small section shall also be dedicated to motorcycle/scooter parking. No changes to time-restrictions are being considered as part of this proposal, nor will any parallel parking on the opposite side of Clifford Street be affected in any way. Moreover, two-way traffic along Clifford Street will be maintained.

A concept design has been prepared in accordance with Australian Standards.
