Council is planning an upgrade to the existing Belmont Road/Bardwell Road Roundabout.

The proposed upgrade includes replacing the existing pedestrian refuge islands, upgraded kerb and gutter and new line markings, and has been designed to improve pedestrian safety at this location.

Council has prepared a concept design which is attached.

Under the current project's concept design, some on-street parking is proposed to be removed. The location and number of parking spaces to be removed is shown on the design drawing.

Council is seeking feedback from the community. Community consultation will be open for 4 weeks, closing on 16 June 2023, and will allow residents and road users with an interest in the project to provide feedback on the concept design.
